We were ready to take off for the morning (only a couple hours later than we had hoped) when we noticed that Kayla's bike was flat. We took some time to fix that and to clean up our bikes. Mine had been sounding and feeling different since the fall so some cleaning would be good.
There was a frog in the road. I saw it when I closed up on it. I was getting closer. Luckily, I did not hit it. One of the two of us was creeped out by the frog. The other picked up the frog. We almost kept it as a pet, so close. But, alas it jumped away. I wanted to go to a library to post pictures and to type a blog, but they were closed. All of the nearby libraries were closed on Mondays. It might be because people don't use libraries much anymore, some people should maybe read more books.
Since one of the libraries surprised us with a closed sign, we crossed the street to a music box museum. As we opened the door to the "museum" we were greeted by a strange man. He gave us his rehearsed introduction, we declined the tour. We didn't want the tour, mainly because it was 40 dollars but also because he weirded us out with overwhelming attention.
We decided we were just about done with our bike trip. I mean, we were close to finishing up, but we wanted to cut it even shorter. Originally we had planned on riding to the Atlantic Ocean. Somewhere along the way we changed our destination from the Ocean to bar Harbor. I guess I figured that the Ocean was at Bar Harbor. Today, I realized that I could ALREADY see the ocean. We would end in Rockport. I think I already biked a lot.
Update on what we have ran over: Kayla ran over something that looked like a beaver.
