Things i've learned.

Motorcyclists are very friendly- so far, a couple of bikers shared their food with us at a campsite in Shilling Springs, CA. Guys on motorcycles talk to us from time to time. Maybe they are surprised by our method of travel, they come off as friendly though. Also, pretty much every biker gives us a wave. Oh, and, we were also offered water by a biker on a hot day. He passed us, then rode back, pulled over, told us he had extra water, and offered it to us.

Nevada is one huge desert broken up by a bunch of mountains. So far, it's about every 60 miles that we run into a town. Other than that it's just land, land and more land. People keep referring to it as the most mountainous state.

Camping in California is expensive. Once we crossed over to Nevada, the prices for a campsite took a steep drop.
