We got coffee and we got out of milford
After milford we reaches this one town called Minersville. Wait, we didn't arrive there, well, yeah we did, but not before the start of a series of mishaps. Kayla's front tire went flat. We blew it up some and headed into minersville where we figured we'd get some food and patch it up. We didn't have any spare tubes for her so patches would have to do. We patched it in Minersville and it was holding. Also, in Minersvie we ran into Clark from Milford. Clark finds cross country bikers extremely interesting. He usually offers them a place to stay when they pass through Milford, he even makes ice cream for them. Though, we, Kayla and I, had been in Milford the last couple of days, we didn't run into him earlier, bummer. Clark also told us about the landslide and road closure up ahead for us, after Cedar City. We were going to have to take a detour. He told us there was an easier route if we went straight to Powotan and skipped Cedar City all together. We put the idea in out heads. We needed to visit the Cedar City bike shop so that was where we'd go.

With the tire patched we started riding again. We didn't make it out of town- and we re-patched it.

We had one big hill to climb. Oh at the top a trailer drove close to us and I tried to move further out of its way. I lost control when my bike hit dirt. It was uphill and i was going like 4 miles per hour so my bike stopped and i took a small fall, no scrapes or bruises though.
Kayla mentioned that her knee was hurting, so we went slowly the rest of the way. Cedar City seemed to be forever away.
When we arrived into town, we used Google to lead us to a motel. Google Fail: we were lead to a street that turned out to be a closed parking lot. We climbed over barbed-wire fence with our heavy bikes and we crawled under a medal gate with our heavy bikes. And, all's well when we arrived at the hotel and ate a Subway sub.
(the subs at Milford were delicious at Subway)
