Lizardhead pass to almost montrose 7/16

The plan was to make it to Montrose. Also, ridgeview for my tires. On the way we passed some beautiful views and my phone was dead so i couldnt take many pictures on this day, sadly. We passed the sawpit where we got something to eat and drink then Placerville pt 2 where we got more food, talked to a guy who didn't drive, and had decided he wouldn't at the age of 16, he was 54. He looked young. And gave us some advice about riding bikes at night. We also faced some rain when we were about to head out. We tried to wait it out but that wasn't happening. With our rain jackets, we set out. We passed by some construction where rock was getting blasted.  We headed out to  ridgeview for miles and miles of climbing, then a deacent.

We heard Ridgeview had food and a bike shop. We arrived to find the bike shop out of business, and a lot of closed stores. We ate And i charged my phone. We also grabbed aome snacks for later.So much for my new tires.
Then, on the way out of town, we saw and outdoor sport. They had cheap bike tires. So i bought some. I didnt put them on until we arrived at our campsite, 10 miles from Montrose at an RV park.
