Carson City to Fallon

June 26, 2012

We left Carson City to head to Fallon, NV.

(Not before grabbing some food, we've been eating a lot, especially Kayla, but especially me)

We got on highway 50, which is called the "loneliest road in America".

It could've been lonelier. I think I've seen lonelier highways, on tv. Looking at our maps, it looked like we'd be on it for the next week or so. Along the route, I decided to quit lugging my backpack on my back and instead, place it on the back of my bike. That felt like a load off my back, it may have been because it was. That water was heavy. At Fallon, we were greeted by Brad and his family who gave us food, offered us their shower, and allowed us to camp in their front yard. Thank you for everything, we were extremely tired that day. They have been hosting other bikers who pass through Fallon, and gave us a lot of advice for the miles ahead.
