Almost montrose to almost gunnison 7/17
The plan was to make it to Gunnison.
Ten miles to Montrose we were greeted with a city. They had a sports
authority where i bought a bag. We went to target and we visited the
post office. There, we mailed stuff that we didnt need home-backpack,
rain pants, solar charger.
We carries on to some long uphills.
I saw a live snake in the road in front of me. Some storms were brewing
when we reached the summit. It was windy and it seemed like the storm
was chasing us. We went around rain clouds. We were tired and we were
not going to make it to gunisson so we stopped at a campsite at a
reservoir.
We camped at red creek. It was very isolated and it looked lime the site had not been used in months.
